2014 March – Being Human Retreat at New Life Foundation – Thailand
“I have another tool to add to my AA toolbox. I’ve been aware of mindfulness and loving-kindness the quite a while and now I have a deeper understanding of how this practice will enable me to find another level of peace and serenity.”

“I’m feeling lighter, and my mind feels cleared. I’m starting to understand the importance of meditation, this time I feel as though I made better lead way in gaining better knowledge as to how to meditate. I arrived feeling very upset, unable to connect with myself. I feel that there has been much in the space opened. My mind is karma, as well as I feel the lead meditations really broke down some key areas that I wasn’t sure how to tackle.”
“Thank you very much for offering this wonderful week of meditation. Your honest approach and well led talks, readings, meditations and exercises were more than I expected. I felt like I have met an important person, who has helped me on my own recovery. This will be something of an experience I will treasure for a long time to come. Thank you for the compassion, and the generosity of your time and message. I could do this for another week easily!.”
“I really liked the guided meditations. The tone and pace you voice helped me to remain present and focused.”
“Developed insight into my past actions feeling more able to know what/how I want to live.”
“Sit-and-Share sessions: I personally would have enjoyed two sessions each day – one in the afternoon and one in the evening, as these sessions were the crux of my development this week. Four days wasn’t long enough to really open up and get to know retreatants and most of the day was in silence. Thank you for your hard work and kindness, so appreciated!”
“Time for me, time to connect with others. It gave me much needed time out from me and for meditation.”
“The flags were a great project and a culminating experience to the retreat. Many of my thoughts seem to gel. It was good to think of all the people in my life who have helped me to get where I am.”
“I feel a bit confused, many things were stirred up. It did so very much, forgiveness is a big issue and I had never heard about it before.”
“I feel I got a few good tools under my belt to work on my personal journey. I feel more confident generally. I really liked it and got what I came for, to deeper my meditation practice. Program is well balanced. I liked the way you present things. I was 100% satisfied.”
