In search of Sunday lunch

I didn’t set an alarm but I woke up early due to a bad tummy… I can’t seem to shake it off.
It’s Sunday so I am able to join the online ‘Sit-and-Share’ meeting before going out for the afternoon. As always, a very pleasant and agreeable experience.
I walk almost the entire length of Central Avenue to the Tuasa bus terminal just to check it out. I might ride the bus to the airport on Tuesday but it would be a twenty minute stroll with backpacks in the midday heat, so maybe I’ll treat myself to an Uber on this first leg of the long homeward journey.
Today is a Sunday, and Central Avenue is packed with people selling things and buying things. It is almost a holiday atmosphere.
On the way back to the apartment, I stopped to look around Mercado Central and to see what was on offer to eat. I took a seat, and a chance, at one of the many food counters and ordered a ‘special sopa’. This turned out to be a bowl of meat broth accompanied by a plate of unidentified stewed meat and vegetables… not quite a Sunday Dinner!
Back at the Condo Living Apartment, I tried watching the 1st episode of Goosebumps on the Disney+ channel… I don’t think I will bother with episode 2.
I am aware that temperatures in Ireland have been very low for a few days. I made a point of turning off the water supply before I left but I forgot to leave the heating setup so that I could turn it on remotely (or automatically set it to come on) when the ambient temperature drops too low. All I can do now is monitor 2 sensors, one in the loft and one in the kitchen, that indicates the temperature is steadily falling. The current temperature in the loft is -1°C and in the kitchen 4.6°C.
There is nothing that I can do until I arrive back in Ireland in 3-days time, so I will try not to worry.
Other than that, it had been an easy, relaxed and quiet day.
